What is Microsoft Teams?
Microsoft Teams is an online chat-based workspace in Office 365 acting as a centralized team hub for Office 365 apps with customization and integration through APIs and bot frameworks. A user of a team can create channels and chats for discussion of individual topics with all or specific members of the team using texts, images & emoticons, share and work on documents, notes (from OneNote) & files using tabs, send private messages to chat with a specific user, call meetings using VoIP and video conferencing as well as add tabs allowing integration with many apps such as Planner, Excel & Power BI out-of-the-box.
